Have fun on the site. We’ve tried to make it pretty open. The rules and About posts are worth reading. They’re general guidelines, contact info, and a little bit about both your administrators and editor(s).

You may have noticed that by default you are a subscriber. This is so that everything isn’t cluttered hideously by spam. We all have better things to do with our time than filter through junk trying to find actual decent content–though you have to do that going through my writing to get to other people’s. If you wish to become a contributor or writer, send me an email at katie@cordite.com or katie@genteelsteel.com

I am more than happy to make you a writer. It make take some extra time on your part, but I’m sure it’s worth it in the interests of keeping things as neat as possible.

This site has some fairly simple rules:

I. No spamming is permitted on the site. Violators will have to be banned–no creative punishments, sadly.

II. Works that are offensive will not be put up on the site. The Administrators and Editors reserve the right to turn down compositions. (Aim for PG-13) If you would like, we can edit and send you back suggestions before you put it up here.

III. No vicious arguing in the comments section. This is a blog, but every user on here is older than five. Act like a mature adult, whether or not you are one.

IV. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

V. Your work here is your own. You may do with it as you wish, though we would request that any material to be published be taken down so we don’t interfere with publication rights and protections.

VI. Any fanfiction must be designated as such to protect the Administrators from confusion. (The Editors are basically all-knowing.)

Cara: Brilliant and first editor. Artist, musician, fledgling writer, and fencer. Quite crazed player, but we can’t usually get her to GM. Enjoys books, long walks on beaches, and poking dead things with a stick (or a sword). D&D Alignment: Chaotic Neutral.
